Edible Salted Caramel Cookie Dough (Vegan and Gluten-Friendly)
Updated: Jun 19, 2021

Hey everyone! It’s Vaidehi and I’m back with another quick, easy, and healthy recipe. This salted caramel cookie dough is so flavorful and tastes nothing like raw flour and eggs. This recipes makes a single serving and is perfect for those sudden sweet tooth cravings! Those times when you’re like “Wow, I wish I had a nice cookie or a cupcake or something.” I feel like I always have these sudden cravings after watching a baking show or basically anything with food, but I will never give up Food Network. This recipe is healthy though so you can even eat it for breakfast in the morning or sprinkle some “cookie dough” in your morning yogurt. It would also make a great addition to a parfait to make a Slated Caramel Cookie Dough parfait.

For this Salted Caramel Cookie Dough you will need our Caramel Snack Jar. If you don’t have one (you should consider buying one ;) ) or you can use any plain nut butter. Just make sure to flavor it so your cookie dough doesn’t taste plain and tastes like Salted Caramel Cookie Dough.

But enough about how great this cookie dough is, let‘s get into the recipe!

Salted Caramel Cookie Dough:
• 1 Caramel ChaiBiscuits Snack Jar
• 1 tablespoon Ground Flax Seed
• 3 tablespoons Water
• 1/2 teaspoon Salt
• 2 tablespoons Vegan Chocolate Chips
Get a medium sized bowl and empty the entire snack jar into the bowl.
In a separate small bowl combine the water and ground flax seed and let that sit for 5 minutes. This will create our vegan egg and will give our snack jar more of a cookie dough texture and flavor.
After five minutes combine your vegan egg and the snack jar in the medium bowl. Combine fully.
Add in your salt into the mixture. A note in this step is to add your salt in slowly and you can add more or less depending on how salted you like your caramel.
Add in your chocolate chips and mix once more.
Pour the mixture back into the jar and enjoy!
*If you like a drier cookie dough then you can even add some gluten-free oats (or regular oats) or oat flour to thicken it up.
